The MHS JV girls tennis team opened the 2019 season with a loss at Ypsilanti Lincoln High School, 4-2. Winners for the Trojans were the number one doubles team of Darby and Lexi Klemz 2-6 6-2 7-5 and the number two doubles team of Jenna Hammond - Hannah Noblit 6-3 7-6. Alexa Taylor and Sidney Corrin fought hard and lost a close three set match 4-6 6-4 1-6. All of the young ladies competed and improved throughout the match. The girls will need to rebound quickly as they play SMCC at home today at 4:00.
